Community Open Days Open City . Sewa Day
17 & 18 September 2011

The Community Open Days are open to all members of the public.

We welcome members from the diverse community to be a part of an enjoyable event that will provide an opportunity to visit this iconic architectural beauty of London.

The event is based on the theme of “One World – One Community”. It promises to be inspiring and fun for all, and will include health awareness, performances, guided tours, interactive informative exhibits as well as delicious food stalls. The interactive exhibits comprise of eight zones covering art, values, volunteering, festivals, welfare, music and lifestyle while also promoting organ donation and support for charities.

The highlights include seminars addressing topics such as high performance, personal growth and the Hindu tradition. There will also be live performances every thirty minutes in the assembly hall.

The BAPS Neasden Temple has recently received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the UK’s ‘Pride of Place’ award, and has been voted as the Landmark of Brent for the 2012 Olympic Games.

The Community Open Days will also provide an opportunity to engage with and learn how BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, UK is working within the community.
