Coronavirus (COVID-19): Public Announcement Regarding All BAPS Events in UK & Europe
Thursday 5 March 2020

In view of the current situation in the UK and Europe regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, in the interest of the health of all devotees and visitors (in particular, the elderly and vulnerable), events and sabhas (religious assemblies) at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London, have been cancelled or postponed until further notice.

All group and school visits will also be cancelled until further notice.

In addition to the above, all planned local sabhas and events at all BAPS mandirs and centres across the UK and in Europe are also cancelled or postponed until further notice. Further information will be provided to local lead volunteers.

Darshan, arti and abhishek (where applicable) at all BAPS mandirs in the UK and in Europe will remain open as usual. However, we encourage everyone to avoid all non-essential travel during this period, especially the elderly and infirm.

Daily darshan of the murtis at London Mandir can be viewed on our website here.

Information regarding events in April 2020, including the visit of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj to the UK, will be relayed in due course once further information is available.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will share updates as new information becomes available.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Please note that this guidance applies to the UK and Europe only; other BAPS centres worldwide will provide relevant guidance according to the situation in their respective areas.
