82 New Donors Register at Bone Marrow Recruitment Drive
As part of its continuing partnership with The Anthony Nolan Trust, BAPS Charities UK organised a recruitment drive for bone marrow donors on the evening of Saturday 28 January 2012 at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London. This follows the funds and awareness raised for the UK blood cancer charity in 2009 from BAPS’s Family Walk & Fun Run.

Observing Universal Children’s Day
In 1954, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed that all countries institute a Universal Children’s Day, to be “observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children.” It recommended that the Day be observed also as a day of activity devoted to promoting the ideals and objectives of the UN Charter and the welfare of the children of the world.
